Boeing and Turkish Airlines have announced a strategic agreement for the acquisition of four additional 777 Freighters, aimed at bolstering Turkish Airlines’ position in the global air cargo market. This order will increase Turkish Airlines’ fleet of 777 Freighters to a total of 12.
Ali Türk, Chief Cargo Officer of Turkish Airlines, highlighted the significance of this investment: “Expanding our cargo fleet underscores our commitment to meeting the increasing global demand for air freight services. The expansion of Turkish Airlines’ freighter fleet comes in response to escalating demand driven by the rapid growth of e-commerce and the need for reliable global transportation solutions.
