Representatives from China’s Gansu Provincial and Jiuquan Municipal Governments joined the Global Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi from April 15 to 20, 2024, with additional visits to Dubai and Saudi Arabia. During this event, Gansu Hengyuan Dongli New Energy Limited Company inked deals with international solar product buyers, expanding avenues for Chinese new energy photovoltaic firms globally. The signing ceremony, graced by Gansu province’s head and Jiuquan’s mayor in Dubai, saw Xian Xiaoli, President of Gansu Hengyuan Dongli New Energy, affirming the company’s commitment to ecological prosperity and prioritizing technology and quality in domestic and international market ventures.
In response to China’s call for “Peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality,” Gansu Hengyuan Dongli initiated a 6GW photovoltaic module core project in Jiuquan City, spanning 152 mu with a 4 billion RMB yuan investment. The project’s 2.4 GW production line is operational, with others underway. Additionally, plans include a 5GW high-efficiency battery base project, covering around 240 mu, with a similar investment. The company aims to establish a closed-loop new energy equipment manufacturing industrial chain and a demonstration park by constructing inverter, photovoltaic rack, and wire/cable factories over 160 mu, investing approximately 2 billion yuan.
Hengyuan’s Photovoltaic Module business emphasizes high power output and reliability, striving to reduce system costs and boost investor returns. With state-of-the-art production line equipment catering to various product specifications, the company collaborates with renowned domestic and international enterprises to advance new energy technology R&D and application. It has established a new energy technology research institute in Jiuquan, led by domestic experts and academics, ensuring continuous industrial technology enhancement and fostering new energy sector growth regionally and globally.
This underscores Gansu Hengyuan Dongli New Energy’s vision in the photovoltaic energy domain, positioned in western China but with national and global market outreach.
