Generational Group Advises Smith Equipment Solutions in Sale to Brixey & Meyer Capital

Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Smith Equipment Solutions is a second-generation family-owned business specializing in commercial equipment, with a strong emphasis on the automotive sector. Smith provides sales, maintenance, and installation services for automotive service equipment, as well as compressed air and fluid transfer systems, serving a diverse range of industries. The company is recognized as a leading provider of industrial equipment, offering service and preventative maintenance to automotive repair centers and dealerships throughout the Carolinas.

Brixey & Meyer Capital, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, is a private investment firm that focuses on investments in manufacturing, healthcare, distribution, and business services sectors. This acquisition marks BMC’s second investment in the automotive aftermarket equipment industry. Following the sale, Smith’s previous owners will retain an ownership stake in the company alongside BMC, continuing to be involved in its growth.
