DEWALT, a Stanley Black & Decker brand known for comprehensive jobsite solutions, has announced the launch of the TOUGHSYSTEM® 2.0 DXL™, the industry’s first 30-inch modular storage system featuring a functional workstation. Designed for durability and ease of transport, the system is built to endure tough jobsite conditions.
The new TOUGHSYSTEM® 2.0 DXL™ lineup consists of four 30-inch components: a Worktop, Deep Drawer Unit, 2-Drawer Unit, and Dolly. These products are fully customizable, compatible with existing TOUGHSYSTEM® 2.0 items, and fit beneath most truck bed covers, allowing professionals to work conveniently from their trucks. The modules can be easily stacked and connected using patented auto-connect front latches.

Key features of the TOUGHSYSTEM® 2.0 DXL™ include:
- TOUGHSYSTEM® 2.0 DXL™ 30-inch Worktop (DWST08550): A versatile, durable work surface with five tool slots and two integrated cup holders. It also includes reinforced screw holes for mounting 2×4 beams or plywood for on-site tasks.
- TOUGHSYSTEM® 2.0 DXL™ 30-inch Deep Drawer Unit (DWST08510): Offering 11.62 gallons (44 liters) of storage, this unit has removable dividers and metal side racks for organizing tools and accessories. The drawer opens smoothly on ball-bearing slides, locks securely, and has a 55 lbs. (25 kg) load capacity. An integrated metal bar provides added security for tools.
- TOUGHSYSTEM® 2.0 DXL™ 30-inch 2-Drawer Unit (DWST08520): Similar to the Deep Drawer Unit, this product has a 9.04-gallon (34.3 liters) capacity with two drawers, each supporting 27.5 lbs. (12.5 kg). It also includes the same secure metal bar feature.
- TOUGHSYSTEM® 2.0 DXL™ 30-inch Dolly (DWST08530): With a durable, impact-resistant body and large 6-inch heavy-duty caster wheels, the dolly is designed to handle rough terrain and carry up to 440 lbs. (200 kg).
The individual products are available separately or in two bundles: the TOUGHSYSTEM® 2.0 DXL™ 5-in-1 Tower (DWST60510) and the 4-in-1 Tower (DWST60520), with the latter containing one of each component, and the 5-in-1 featuring two Deep Drawer units.
Additionally, DEWALT has introduced several storage kits compatible with the TOUGHSYSTEM® 2.0 DXL™ and Metal Workshop Storage System. These include the Power Tool Storage Kit (DWST086501), Workshop Storage Kit (DWST086502), and Jobsite Storage Kit (DWST086503).
