QXO recognizes Vanessa Fusco as the 2026 winner of the Roofing Female Personality of the Year award.

Today announced that Vanessa Fusco, CEO of Rejoince and Restore LLC in Naugatuck, Connecticut, is the 2026 recipient of the North American Women in Roofing of the Year Award. This national program recognizes outstanding women in the roofing industry in the United States and Canada. As this year’s recipient, Ms. Fusco will receive a US$10,000 scholarship and tickets to the 2027 National Women in Roofing Days and the International Roofing Expo.

Now in its sixth year, this program highlights female roofing professionals who distinguish themselves through their innovation, mentorship, commitment to safety, and pursuit of excellence. Ms. Fusco won the title following a national public vote, ahead of four other accomplished finalists.

Ms. Fusco built Rejoice and Restore from the ground up. Since completing its first project in 2024, the company has experienced rapid growth and now generates multi-million dollar revenues. She leads her company with a strong social mission, creating opportunities for people in recovery while achieving excellent business results. Her leadership combines operational excellence with a deep commitment to her community.

“The roofing industry is stronger because of women like Vanessa who are driving it forward,” said Josephine Berisha, Chief Human Resources Officer at QXO. “She and this year’s other finalists are setting the standard for leadership in our industry.”

The four other finalists, who will each receive funding to support their professional development, are:

  • Jennifer George, Co-founder and CEO, Northern Arizona Roof Services, Flagstaff, AZ
  • Lauren Marsh, President, Ridgeline Construction HSV, Inc., Athens, AL
  • Kathleen Maxwell, PDG, Maxwell Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc., Nashville, TN
  • Stacey Oakley, Cheffe de cabinet, ProFormance Builder Solutions, Winter Garden, FL

“It is an honor to receive this award on behalf of the extraordinary women who are transforming the roofing industry,” said Vanessa Fusco. “I am proud to share this recognition with the women who have mentored me, the team who show up every day with passion, and the clients who entrust me with their most important investment. I hope our journey inspires more women to pursue careers in roofing and other building materials sectors.”

This year’s finalists were selected from over 2,000 applications from the United States and Canada. The selection committee, comprised of QXO executives, past winners, and female industry leaders, evaluated the applications.
