Prodalim, a global leader in fruit juice and specialty ingredient solutions, today announced the expansion of its Solos service centers, coupled with the commissioning of a new facility in Hopland, California.
The new location marks an important milestone in the ongoing globalization of Solos, Prodalim’s patented aroma recovery technology and beverage innovation platform, and positions Solos at the heart of one of the world’s most important wine-growing regions, thereby strengthening collaboration with leading beverage manufacturers.
This expansion follows the recent opening of a Solos service center in Spain, as well as the announcement of further collaborations in Germany and Switzerland, and further strengthens Solos’ global platform.
With an annual production of around 2.5 billion liters, California accounts for more than 80% of US wine production, making it a global hub for wine production and beverage innovation.
The plant in Hopland has an initial processing capacity of around 15 million liters per year, with expansion potential in the near future.
With this expansion, Prodalim now operates four locations in the United States, including its headquarters and juice-based solutions center in Winter Garden, Florida, a research and development center, and warehouse facilities in Port Elizabeth, New Jersey, and South Gate, California.
Through the Solos platform, Prodalim applies cutting-edge technologies to recover natural flavor compounds from fermented beverages, enabling manufacturers to enhance authenticity and preserve sensory quality in evolving beverage categories.
The new locations support collaboration with producers throughout the Northern California ecosystem, including Rack & Riddle Holdings, LLC, the largest producer of custom sparkling wines in the United States.
As part of its recent restructuring, Prodalim has reorganized its business operations into three purpose-driven divisions:
Juice Solutions – a complete solution for juice producers, covering procurement, logistics, recipe development and blending.
Specialty Ingredients & Solutions – supplies flavor and functional ingredients such as FTNF, flavorings, essential oils, citrus fibers and natural colorings, supported by an in-house research and development department.
SOLOS – a platform for producing high-quality alcoholic beverage products for the rapidly growing NoLo segment
