Oilstainlab and Delphi, a PHINIA Inc. brand , today announced the launch of the official European Half-11 road tour, a return to the roots of the one-of-a-kind, personalized car, which originated in the golden age of European motorsport in the 1960s, but has been enhanced with modern technology. The car will officially premiere at the Ultrace event in Gdansk, Poland, on June 27-28; the vehicle will then debut at the HEIZR Racing Dept. at the Hockenheimring, Germany, on July 4, before the European tour concludes at the exclusive Tutto Bene event in Italy, September 12-13. The Half-11 features a bespoke Art Car design, created in collaboration with Delphi. Its striking design is a thoughtful, neo-digital remix of iconic Art Cars of yesteryear, paying tribute to the pioneers who pioneered the intersection of art, design, and motorsport.
A Fairytale Canvas: Delphi’s Second Art Car
Following the success of its first venture, the Alpine A110 Rally GT+, which debuted at the Tutto Bene event last year, Delphi is pleased to present its second Art Car, created as a dynamic tribute to the engineers, dreamers and mechanics whose dedication helps turn machines into global symbols.
The best art is unique and unrepeatable, supported by a solid point of view. The Half-11, intended as a canvas, is precisely that: a radical, beautiful creation created by the artists at Oilstainlab. As a timeless prototype bridging the romanticism of 1960s motorsport and the cutting-edge mobility technologies of the future, the Half-11 provides a truly unparalleled platform for this personalized style.
Through this initiative, Delphi furthers its established partnership with Oilstainlab, embodying both entities’ shared belief in the potential of beautiful technology, mechanical emotionalism, and uncompromising engineering. The vehicle, designed specifically for the Half-11’s European return to its roots, will be driven on Europe’s most famous driving tracks by Oilstainlab founders Nikita and Iliya Bridan.
“The Delphi Art Car celebrates global automotive culture and forward-thinking design,” said Neil Fryer, PHINIA’s global vice president of aftermarket. “It represents the collective experience we have gained in the aftermarket and the critical importance of the aftermarket in shaping future engineering breakthroughs.”
Half-11: Double Vision
The Half-11, conceived by twins Nikita and Iliya Bridan, was never intended to be a traditional commercial vehicle. The brothers, born in Ukraine and raised in Canada, moved to Italy at age 14 to study automotive design, eventually attending ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California. After years of working for major automakers, they founded Oilstainlab in 2018, followed by House de Stains , a lifestyle brand affiliated with the automaker.
The Half-11 debuted in a “historical vandalism” campaign that made a huge splash online. Oilstainlab circulated carefully edited, historically accurate photographs, placing the fictional car against the backdrop of real European races from the 1960s. Starting with no production skills, the brothers set out to create a physical manifestation of the iconic 1960s, marked by a romanticization of danger, illegal speeds, and uncompromising beauty.
“With Half-11, we set out to bring to life an iconic myth that lives in the past, present, and future. We wanted to build a myth that would express the past, present, and future. Delphi’s Art Car is a natural extension of this vision, fusing the worlds of automotive design, culture, and art to create a creation that is groundbreaking yet relatable,” said Nikita Bridan, the brand’s founder and CEO, who was born too late to experience those years firsthand.
Half-11 Details
It’s a constant search for a mechanical anchor in an increasingly digital world. Beneath the prototype’s radical bodywork lies the unrecognizable chassis of a 1966 Porsche 911, along with a revolutionary V8 engine and a 6-speed manual transmission. A 3D-printed Iconel exhaust pipe gives the car its iconic sound, while the hand-formed aluminum bodywork provides curves and an authentic patina that would be at home at any vintage car show.
Since its inception, the Half-11 has covered over 12,000 miles. It has raced across America from Los Angeles to New York in just four days, conquered the FAT ICE Race in Aspen, crossed the Atlantic to compete in the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, and won an award at the prestigious Quail – A Motorsports Gathering. Today, there are few places left that the Half-11 hasn’t conquered. Returning to Europe – the continent where its legacy was born – represents a true, unfulfilled return to its roots.
Euro-Vision” i droga do HF-11
The route will showcase the vehicle in the world of vintage motorsport, debuting on the very surface that inspired its creators. This journey is not only a celebration of history but also a rigorous testing ground.

Created as an ultra-lightweight, 2,000-pound enthusiast car, the HF-11 is being developed to deliver a thrilling, uncompromising, and completely analog driving experience. Breaking boundaries in Europe with the Half-11, Oilstainlab is collecting key mechanical and experience data essential to ensuring the HF-11 delivers on its core motto: “The past is ahead of the future.”
