Nordson Corp.’s Polymer Processing Systems division has appointed Ethan Cornwell as Regional Sales Manager. In his new role, Cornwell will be responsible for managing the sales operation and agent network for EDI® polymer die systems in the South Central and Southwest U.S. as well as the Latin and South America regions. With a primary focus on supporting Nordson’s top-tier customers, Cornwell will also drive market expansion initiatives for the company’s EDI® business.
Kelly Harings, Senior Manager of Commercial Sales and Marketing for Nordson’s EDI® business, expressed confidence in Cornwell’s suitability for the position, citing his extensive global sales management experience with a leading gauging firm. Harings anticipates Cornwell leveraging his expertise to nurture existing customer relationships and lead new growth strategies in these strategic market regions.
Cornwell himself expressed enthusiasm about joining Nordson at a pivotal moment, emphasizing the company’s commitment to expanding its presence in key geographic areas. He looks forward to meeting the needs of key clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
Prior to joining Nordson, Cornwell served as Lead Sales Manager at AIS Gauging in Terre Haute, Ind. Over seven years, he demonstrated proficiency in managing sales operations across the U.S. and overseeing the company’s agent network in the United Kingdom, Brazil, and India. Cornwell was instrumental in driving global sales, fostering relationships with AIS accounts and partners, contributing to product development initiatives, coordinating conferences and trade show events, and supervising a team of manufacturing representatives.
