Mercedes-Benz Trucks Unveils eActros 600 Experience World at Wörth Customer Center

Minimalist design, clear lines, aerodynamic shape, and high-tech features: Mercedes-Benz Trucks is ushering in a new era in the transport industry with the eActros 600, a battery-electric vehicle designed for long-haul transport. Series production is slated to begin at the end of 2024. These attributes define not only the vehicle but also the eActros 600 Experience World at the Wörth Customer Center. Here, customers can explore the all-electric truck through various media formats, offering comprehensive information about the vehicle and its related services. Additionally, the pavilion provides insights into the history of Mercedes-Benz Trucks and the Wörth plant.

Stina Fagerman, Head of Marketing, Sales and Services at Mercedes-Benz Trucks, stated: “The modern eActros 600 Experience World visually reflects our commitment to sustainable mobility with innovative products and services. Our pavilion presents the eActros 600 as part of an integrated solution for transitioning to e-mobility.”

Future-Oriented Architecture

Designed as a counterpoint to the Wörth Customer Center, the eActros 600 Experience World symbolizes the shift from diesel to electric mobility. Its organic curves, white color, and natural materials represent locally CO2-neutral road freight transport. Constructed of sustainable wood, the free-standing pavilion contrasts with the rectangular Customer Center. The curved walls and themed islands create a cohesive interior, using materials like fiberboard, stainless steel, rubber, and glass to create an uncluttered look that complements the clean design of the eActros 600.

Visitors start their experience in a cinema with a short film about Mercedes-Benz Trucks and the Wörth plant, followed by an interactive station with large touchscreens that explore various aspects of e-mobility and the eActros 600, focusing on comfort, design, profitability, sustainability, and services like eConsulting. Outside, a 23-meter-long LED wall showcases impressive films about the eActros 600. The vehicle itself is displayed in an open semicircle covering 120 square meters, accompanied by a 40-square-meter LED wall and a lighting installation.

The pavilion also includes a consultation area, a temporary workspace for customers, and space for special exhibitions. It is designed for long-term use with themes that can be updated periodically.

The eActros 600 Experience World is open during the regular hours of the Wörth Customer Center. As part of a comprehensive experience and communication concept for Mercedes-Benz Trucks customers, it includes the opportunity to drive the eActros 600 on select routes in southwest Germany for the next 18 months, along with guided tours of the eTruck Charging Park and the world’s largest assembly plant for Mercedes-Benz Trucks in Wörth.
