The LYCRA Company has appointed Alistair Williamson, a senior executive, as Vice President of Product Sustainability, reaffirming the company’s commitment to developing sustainable solutions for apparel and personal care products. Upon assuming his new role, Williamson will lead the company’s next phase of sustainability policy and oversee all initiatives aimed at mitigating the environmental impact of its products, operations, and innovation platforms.
Williamson has 40 years of experience serving the textile and apparel industry, having held business, sales, and marketing management positions in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, North America, and South Asia. Prior to joining The LYCRA Company in 2007, Williamson worked at two nylon spinning mills.
