Empowering Connectivity: pSemi Showcases Cutting-Edge RF Solutions at IMS 2024

pSemi® Corporation, a leading semiconductor integration and advanced connectivity firm under Murata, has announced its participation at the 2024 International Microwave Symposium (IMS) in Washington D.C., from June 16–21, 2024. At IMS, pSemi will showcase a range of cutting-edge solutions at booth #1351, highlighting innovations across infrastructure, connectivity, antenna technology, and high-performance multimarket applications.

A key highlight includes their collaborative effort with AMD and Murata on a new turnkey sub-6 GHz radio frequency front end (RFFE) reference design. This platform integrates pSemi’s PE42446 SP4T RF switch with HaRP™ technology, PE53231 integrated dual-channel switch LNA module, and PE43712 RF digital step attenuator (DSA), delivering exceptional RX performance tailored for modern mobile infrastructure networks.

Rodd Novak, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at pSemi, expressed enthusiasm about these advancements, noting that the collaboration sets new benchmarks in 5G RF wireless infrastructure while streamlining time to market and reducing costs for customers.

Alongside this, pSemi will also showcase several other advanced solutions at IMS, including:

  • An ultra-high voltage RF switch designed for broadband RF applications.
  • An n104 band RFFE reference design utilizing the PE44951 two-way phase shifter with DSA.
  • A 2.4 GHz IoT connectivity solution employing the PE562212 high-performance front-end module (FEM).
  • Ultra-wideband (UWB) solutions such as the PE423211 and PE42545, catering to battery-powered and power-sensitive applications.
  • mmWave beamforming solutions (PE128310 and PE188210) for FR2 integrated system applications.
  • Antenna reference designs integrated with beamformer and up-down converter (UDC)/mixer for mmWave beamforming solutions.

Additionally, pSemi executives will participate in key speaking sessions at IMS, discussing topics ranging from FR3 implementation challenges to advances in RF PA and transmitter architectures.

“We are eager to unveil our latest innovations at IMS, showcasing our extensive portfolio across various high-performance sectors,” stated Novak. Attendees are invited to visit booth #1351 to witness these demonstrations firsthand and attend informative sessions addressing critical microwave design innovations.
