Cadillac Confirms Four Entries for 24 Hours of Le Mans
Cadillac is gearing up for an exciting return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans this June, fielding four Cadillac V-Series.R racecars in the prestigious endurance event. The American manufacturer is bringing an impressive lineup of experienced and championship-winning teams and drivers, all aiming for victory in the highly competitive Hypercar class.
The Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), the event’s organizing body, has extended four invitations to Cadillac Racing. Over the past two years, Cadillac has entered three Hypercars in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, but this year, they will increase their presence on the grid. The 2025 event, scheduled for June 14-15, will hold special significance as it marks the 75th anniversary of Cadillac’s first-ever entry in the legendary race at Circuit de la Sarthe.

Cadillac Racing’s Strong Driver Lineup
Cadillac Racing’s roster for the 2025 race includes an elite group of drivers with extensive experience in endurance racing. Several of them have previously secured overall and class victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. They also boast FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship titles, making them formidable contenders on the global stage.
The Nos. 12 and 38 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.R entries have received automatic invitations based on their full-season participation in the WEC. JOTA Sport is entering its first year as a factory-backed Hypercar competitor, adding a new chapter to its impressive endurance racing history. The team will feature a lineup that includes former Formula 1 champion Jenson Button, two-time Le Mans winner Earl Bamber, seasoned sportscar racers Sebastien Bourdais and Alex Lynn, as well as Norman Nato and Will Stevens.
The No. 101 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R is set to make its debut at Le Mans. This car competes full-time in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship’s Grand Touring Prototype (GTP) class. Ricky Taylor has been confirmed as the primary driver, with additional driver announcements expected soon.
The No. 311 Whelen Cadillac V-Series.R, campaigned by Action Express Racing, will be making its third consecutive Le Mans appearance. A regular contender in the IMSA GTP category, the team has already demonstrated strong performances in endurance racing. Jack Aitken has been named as the primary driver, with the remaining lineup to be revealed in the coming months.
Cadillac’s Recent Performance at Le Mans
Cadillac Racing made its WEC Hypercar debut in 2023, immediately proving its competitiveness. That year, the team secured an impressive third-place finish at Le Mans, showcasing the potential of the Cadillac V-Series.R in the grueling 24-hour battle. Meanwhile, the Nos. 12 and 38 Hertz Team JOTA entries finished eighth and ninth, respectively, while driving for another manufacturer.
JOTA Sport, the privateer team now running the Nos. 12 and 38 Cadillacs, has an extensive history at Le Mans. Before entering Hypercar competition in 2023, JOTA consistently delivered strong performances in the LMP2 category. The team has stood on the podium at Le Mans 10 times in LMP2, including notable second- and third-place finishes in 2017. This experience in endurance racing makes JOTA a valuable addition to campaign.
