S&K Aerospace Teams Up with SalesPatriot to Modernize MRO and PROS 7 Operations

S&K Aerospace Partners with SalesPatriot to Modernize MRO and PROS 7 Operations Through AI Automation

S&K Aerospace, LLC (SKA) has announced a strategic partnership with SalesPatriot to introduce artificial intelligence (AI) and workflow automation across its aerospace maintenance, repair, supply, and sustainment operations. The collaboration will also support the implementation of the recently awarded U.S. Air Force Parts and Repair Ordering System 7 (PROS 7) contract, helping the company improve operational efficiency, supplier engagement, and logistics support for U.S. military and international customers.

Through the partnership, S&K Aerospace intends to strengthen its ability to manage thousands of supply and repair requirements while reducing administrative workloads and improving visibility across its operations. SalesPatriot’s technology will be deployed throughout S&K’s maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities and integrated into the PROS 7 operating environment.

The initiative focuses on improving sourcing processes, increasing supplier response rates, reducing avoidable cancellations, simplifying pricing documentation, automating reporting, and identifying delayed or aging requirements earlier. By connecting these activities through technology, S&K aims to improve decision-making, accelerate the procurement process, and deliver more consistent results for its customers.

In September 2026, S&K Aerospace received award notification for the $4.3 billion PROS 7 single-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract. The program provides supply, repair, and logistics support for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers, including requirements involving non-standard parts and difficult-to-support equipment.

As the company prepares to execute the contract, the partnership with SalesPatriot is intended to provide additional operational capabilities to manage growing demand and coordinate complex supplier networks.

AI and Automation to Improve Aerospace Supply Operations

A central objective of the partnership is to identify potential problems earlier in the supply and repair lifecycle. Aerospace sustainment operations often involve multiple suppliers, specialized components, pricing requirements, technical documentation, and time-sensitive procurement decisions. Disconnected workflows and manual follow-ups can create delays, increase administrative demands, and raise the risk of cancellations.

SalesPatriot will introduce automation across several activities, including source research, supplier identification, pricing analysis, quotation comparison, vendor follow-up, documentation management, reporting, and management dashboards.

These capabilities are expected to help S&K employees access relevant information more efficiently, monitor outstanding requirements, and identify sourcing challenges before they significantly affect delivery schedules. Automating repetitive activities will also allow employees to devote more time to supplier relationships, sourcing strategies, and resolving complex procurement issues.

“From an operations standpoint, the real value is being able to see problems sooner and spend less time working around disconnected processes,” said Mike Delaney, Vice President of Operations for S&K Aerospace.

Delaney explained that earlier identification of sourcing challenges, improved supplier information, reduced manual follow-up, and better visibility into at-risk requirements could help the company prevent delays and cancellations. These improvements are particularly important when supporting military customers that depend on reliable access to parts and repair services to maintain equipment readiness.

By combining automation with operational oversight, S&K expects to strengthen its ability to monitor requirements throughout the procurement lifecycle and respond more effectively when issues arise.

Supporting the $4.3 Billion PROS 7 Contract

The PROS 7 contract represents a significant opportunity for S&K Aerospace to expand its role in supporting U.S. military logistics and international defense customers. The program covers supply, repair, and logistics requirements for Foreign Military Sales customers, including specialized parts and components that may be difficult to source through conventional procurement channels.

Managing these requirements requires coordination among original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), repair facilities, distributors, and other specialized suppliers. Delays in obtaining quotations, limited source availability, pricing discrepancies, and documentation issues can affect whether a requirement progresses successfully to an award and eventual fulfillment.

S&K plans to use SalesPatriot to improve coordination across these activities and create greater visibility into the status of individual requirements. Automated reporting and management dashboards are expected to help teams identify bottlenecks, prioritize time-sensitive work, and determine where additional supplier engagement may be necessary.

The technology will also support the company’s broader growth strategy by helping it manage a larger portfolio of requirements without introducing unnecessary administrative complexity.

“This is about using technology to help us scale what S&K already does well,” said Tim Horne, Senior Vice President of Business Development for S&K Aerospace.

Horne noted that the company supports a large and expanding portfolio of requirements across U.S. and international customers. He emphasized that improved data, faster sourcing, and greater operational visibility could help S&K respond to more opportunities, connect customers with a broader range of capabilities, and continue growing its business efficiently.

The partnership is therefore designed not only to improve daily operations but also to establish a more scalable foundation for managing future contract activity.

Reducing Avoidable Cancellations and Improving Supplier Response

Reducing avoidable cancellations is a major priority under PROS 7. A requirement may fail to progress because suppliers decline to submit bids, suitable sources cannot be identified, responses arrive too late, quotations expire, or proposed pricing does not meet the requirements of the transaction.

S&K intends to use better data and automated workflows to identify these issues and understand the reasons behind unsuccessful sourcing efforts. Earlier visibility into supplier availability, quotation status, and pricing challenges could allow employees to intervene sooner and explore alternative sourcing options where appropriate.

SalesPatriot’s capabilities are expected to help teams organize supplier communications, track outstanding quotations, compare available offers, and monitor requirements that may be approaching critical deadlines.

The company also plans to strengthen engagement with its network of OEMs, repair facilities, distributors, and specialized suppliers. These relationships are essential for supporting defense customers with complex maintenance and supply needs.

“One of our biggest opportunities is to use technology to make better use of the relationships we already have with OEMs, repair facilities and key suppliers,” said Ran Aviles, Vice President of Sales Development for S&K Aerospace.

Aviles explained that S&K conducts substantial business with many suppliers across multiple programs. SalesPatriot is expected to help connect these opportunities, improve supplier engagement, and make more effective use of the company’s overall buying power.

He added that reducing repetitive administrative work should allow employees to spend more time developing new sources, strengthening OEM relationships, and converting more sourcing opportunities into successful business outcomes.

As part of the PROS 7 transition, S&K will also work directly with key suppliers to understand their quotation challenges and identify practical ways to improve the sourcing process. This engagement is intended to help the company address supplier concerns, improve responsiveness, and establish more effective communication throughout the procurement cycle.

Integrating Technology Without Replacing Existing Systems

SalesPatriot will operate alongside S&K Aerospace’s existing company and Government systems rather than replacing required systems of record. The solution will provide an additional layer of workflow automation and operational visibility while allowing established systems to continue supporting their required functions.

This approach is intended to reduce repetitive tasks without disrupting existing operational processes. By connecting activities that may otherwise require manual coordination, the technology can help employees access information, follow up on requirements, and prepare documentation more efficiently.

The implementation will focus on making operational information more accessible and actionable. Management dashboards and automated reporting are expected to provide greater insight into supplier performance, sourcing progress, processing timelines, and emerging risks.

Maintaining compatibility with existing systems is particularly important in aerospace and defense environments, where procurement processes involve established procedures, documentation requirements, and Government-related workflows.

Measuring Performance and Expanding Operational Improvements

S&K Aerospace plans to evaluate the partnership using measurable operational indicators. These include increased sourcing and bidding activity, stronger supplier response rates, shorter processing cycles, fewer avoidable cancellations, improved award and fill rates, faster documentation, and better management visibility.

Monitoring these indicators will help the company determine whether automation is improving the efficiency of its supply and repair operations and identify areas that require further attention.

Improved sourcing activity and supplier responsiveness could help S&K evaluate more procurement opportunities, while shorter processing cycles may reduce the time required to move requirements through the purchasing and repair process. Reducing avoidable cancellations could also help the company improve the conversion of sourcing efforts into successful awards and fulfilled requirements.

The company intends to use lessons learned from implementing SalesPatriot across MRO operations and PROS 7 activities to identify additional opportunities throughout its Aerospace Business Unit.

This phased approach will allow S&K to assess the effectiveness of individual workflows, refine implementation practices, and determine where similar automation capabilities could provide further benefits.

Advancing Aerospace Sustainment Through Digital Transformation

The partnership between S&K Aerospace and SalesPatriot reflects a broader effort to apply AI and workflow automation to complex aerospace supply chain operations. As defense logistics requirements grow and customers continue to depend on specialized parts and repair services, companies must manage increasingly interconnected sourcing, supplier, documentation, and reporting activities.

By combining S&K’s aerospace sustainment experience with SalesPatriot’s automation capabilities, the companies aim to improve procurement visibility, strengthen supplier coordination, and reduce the administrative burden associated with managing large volumes of requirements.

The initiative is especially relevant to the execution of the $4.3 billion PROS 7 contract, where sourcing performance and timely fulfillment are important to supporting U.S. and international military customers.

As implementation progresses, S&K will focus on improving supplier responsiveness, identifying risks earlier, reducing preventable cancellations, and establishing more efficient workflows across its operations. The results are expected to inform additional digital transformation opportunities throughout the company’s Aerospace Business Unit.

Ultimately, the partnership aims to help S&K Aerospace scale its supply and repair operations more effectively while maintaining a focus on reliability, customer support, and operational performance. By integrating automation into existing processes rather than replacing required systems, the company is seeking to build a more connected and responsive operating environment for its expanding aerospace and defense logistics business.
