Over time, Teradyne Robotics also plans to evaluate bringing production of MiR’s autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) to the Wixom site, further strengthening its North American manufacturing portfolio. In addition to production, the hub will house several vital customer-facing operations, including a dedicated training center, service operations, and a state-of-the-art visitor experience center designed to showcase robotics solutions in real-world industrial applications.
