From May 22 to 23, 2024, Tan Xuguang led a team to visit TÜV SÜD, FEV, and Volkswagen’s MAN Group in Munich and other cities in Germany. The purpose of these visits was to discuss collaborative strategies to address the challenges of the new technology era and establish a series of strategic cooperation agreements focusing on global collaboration.
On May 23, 2024, Tan Xuguang and his team visited MAN Group, a subsidiary of Volkswagen Traton Group, for in-depth discussions with Christian Levin, Chairman and CEO of Volkswagen Traton Group and President and CEO of Scania Commercial Vehicles Group. They thoroughly explored future competition and technological trends in the global commercial vehicle industry. Christian Levin expressed:
Since last year, our management teams have engaged in several rounds of efficient and practical visits and exchanges, elevating our cooperative relationship to a new level. Tan Xuguang and his team also toured MAN Group’s intelligent heavy-duty truck factory, accompanied by Alexander Vlaskamp, Chairman and CEO of MAN Group. On May 22, 2024, Tan Xuguang chaired a strategic technology seminar between Weichai and FEV in Munich. During this seminar, technical experts from FEV and Weichai headquarters engaged in in-depth discussions on product upgrades, competitive product benchmarking, future planning, and other areas.
