Strategic Partnership to Enable Large-Scale Ambient IoT Deployment
Tageos, a global leader in RFID and wireless IoT inlays and tags, has partnered with Wiliot, an innovator in ambient IoT and battery-free sensing technologies, to support the widespread adoption of item-level intelligence. The first major outcome of this partnership is the introduction of the EOS-654 BLE G3, a new passive BLE inlay designed specifically to support real-time location, tracking, and sensing applications at scale.
The EOS-654 BLE G3 inlay is engineered to seamlessly integrate with Wiliot’s Pixel Gen3 IoT sensor and the Wiliot Intelligence platform, enabling enterprises to deploy ambient IoT solutions efficiently across complex environments such as retail stores, warehouses, distribution centers, trailers, and back-of-store areas.
EOS-654 BLE G3: Designed for Performance and Reliability
At the core of the collaboration is the EOS-654 BLE G3 inlay, which features a dual-band architecture operating at 2.4 GHz and sub-1 GHz frequencies. This advanced design allows for improved energy harvesting, extended power delivery, and more reliable wireless transmissions, even in challenging RF environments.
The inlay delivers consistent performance and stability, making it well-suited for demanding logistics and retail use cases where signal reliability is critical. Supplied as a dry inlay, the EOS-654 BLE G3 is ready for conversion into a Wiliot Pixel Gen3 IoT sensor, simplifying integration and accelerating time to deployment for customers.
Battery-Free Pixel Gen3 IoT Sensor and Ambient Intelligence
Once converted, the Pixel Gen3 IoT sensor operates entirely without a battery, drawing energy from ambient radio frequency signals. Using a cost-effective Bluetooth read infrastructure, the sensor transmits continuous item-level data to the Wiliot Intelligence platform without the need for manual scanning or battery maintenance.
The Wiliot Intelligence platform processes and analyzes data streams related to location, temperature, humidity, light exposure, idle time, and movement. This continuous flow of information enables a wide range of physical AI applications, including:

Opened in April 2025, the ICoE serves as a hub for advanced research and development in wireless technologies, including antenna design, BLE sensors, and multi-component integration optimized for roll-to-roll inlay manufacturing.
Following development and validation at the ICoE, products are industrialized through Tageos’ global production network, which spans facilities in France, the United States, and China. This network provides an annual manufacturing capacity of up to 12 billion units, ensuring the scalability required to support large-scale ambient IoT adoption worldwide.
