PAC Worldwide Corporation, a leader in flexible packaging solutions, has unveiled its patent-pending Fixed Release Liner, a new feature designed exclusively for the WicketPAC® flat poly mailer. This innovation enhances the packing process by eliminating the need for packers to remove and discard release liners, creating a cleaner, safer, and faster workflow. The Fixed Release Liner is attached to the wicket header, where it remains in place throughout the packing process, enabling packers to work more efficiently and boosting fulfillment speed by up to 20%. This streamlined approach reduces clutter and minimizes safety hazards associated with loose liners, ideal for high-volume e-commerce companies, distributors, and couriers.
The WicketPAC mailer also meets sustainability standards, featuring third-party certified 50% recycled content and joining PAC Worldwide’s extensive range of recyclable poly and paper mailers. It can be mounted vertically or positioned on wicket stands, offering flexible workspace configurations. Made from tough, moisture-resistant, coextruded polyethylene, WicketPAC is lightweight, durable, and features a tamper-evident, self-seal closure for secure shipping. Additional options, such as dual peel-and-seal closures, allow for easy resealing and reuse, supporting hassle-free returns and reducing packaging waste.
“The Fixed Release Liner is a perfect example of how our engineering and innovation teams address the challenges faced by high-capacity fulfillment centers,” said Thomas Parenteau, President of PAC Worldwide. “This feature not only accelerates fulfillment using wicket mailers but also offers a practical solution to everyday challenges for packers.”
This advancement is part of PAC Worldwide’s commitment to delivering customizable and ready-to-ship packaging solutions for its global client base, which includes Fortune 500 brands, e-commerce businesses, and couriers. PAC Worldwide remains dedicated to enhancing packaging efficiency, durability, and sustainability.
The Fixed Release Liner will debut at Pack Expo International in Chicago from November 3-6 (Booth # N-5475), where PAC Worldwide will showcase its expanding line of sustainable, high-performance packaging solutions.
