MS Printing & JK Group Unveil Five New Textile Printers

MS Printing Solutions and JK Group Introduce Five Advanced Printers to Transform Digital Textile Market

MS Printing Solutions and JK Group, both part of Dover Corporation, have announced the official launch of their new MP Series — a lineup of five innovative multi-pass (MP) digital textile printers. Designed to elevate industry performance standards, the new printers mark a major leap forward in speed, quality, versatility, and sustainability for textile manufacturers worldwide.

A New Platform for Digital Textile Printing

Built on an entirely new platform, the MP Series has been engineered to address the evolving needs of textile producers across multiple segments, from sportswear to fashion to home décor. These next-generation machines bring significant advancements in several critical areas, including body design, construction architecture, user interface, electronics, print head technology, operator safety, and overall ease of use.

One of the standout features of the new series is its durability. By utilizing fewer mechanical parts, the printers are designed to reduce wear and tear, minimize the need for spare parts, and simplify long-term maintenance. This makes them not only cost-efficient but also reliable solutions that help textile manufacturers reduce downtime while keeping operational efficiency at its peak.

The Five Models in the MP Series

The MP Series is not a one-size-fits-all solution but rather a carefully segmented product line that meets the diverse demands of the textile industry:

  • MP3000: The entry-level model, designed for sublimation paper applications. It features a four-head CMYK configuration capable of delivering print speeds up to 315 square meters per hour. This model is tailored for smaller businesses or those just starting to expand into digital textile printing.
  • MP3100: Built with the sportswear sector in mind, the MP3100 uses an eight-head configuration that supports either extended color gamut or double CMYK printing. It also delivers speeds of up to 315 square meters per hour, but with enhanced flexibility in color output, allowing sportswear producers to achieve sharp detail and vibrant results.
  • MP4000: Geared toward the fashion industry, this model is equipped with eight heads arranged in two rows for four-color printing. The design doubles the printing speed compared to entry-level machines, reaching an impressive 630 square meters per hour. It represents a balance of speed and quality, ideal for fast-moving fashion markets.
  • MP4100: Combining the high speed of the MP4000 with greater versatility, the MP4100 features 16 print heads and provides extended color options. This makes it particularly suitable for the demanding needs of the sportswear segment, where performance fabrics require precise and flexible printing solutions.
  • MP5000: The most advanced model in the lineup, the MP5000 is a direct-to-fabric printer capable of using multiple ink types, including reactive, disperse, acid, and pigment inks. It supports up to 16 heads and is compatible with optional feeding, drying, and water recirculation systems. This versatility allows producers to serve a wide range of textile applications, from apparel to interior textiles, with efficiency and sustainability in mind.
Enhanced User Experience and Software Integration

Every printer in the MP Series comes equipped with Qwizard, a touchscreen control system that simplifies operator interaction, and the exclusive Color Pack software. The software automates color calibration and management, ensuring consistent, high-quality results across different jobs. This seamless integration between hardware and software highlights the manufacturers’ commitment to empowering users with tools that save time, reduce errors, and enhance overall output quality.

Focus on Sustainability and Performance

Sustainability remains a central theme of the MP Series. By combining advanced printhead technology, optimized ink usage, and more durable construction, the printers help reduce waste and resource consumption.

Sergio Giannone, Senior Director of Product Engineering and Operations at MS Printing Solutions & JK Group, emphasized the impact of the launch:

“With sustainability at its core, the MP Series represents a leap forward in speed, durability, and versatility. By combining cutting-edge hardware with advanced ink innovations, we are empowering textile producers to achieve new levels of productivity and quality.”
