Maverik – Adventure’s First Stop Wins Cintas’ 2024 America’s Best Restroom® Contest

Cintas Corporation is proud to announce Maverik – Adventure’s First Stop as the winner of the 2024 America’s Best Restroom® contest. Maverik earned this year’s top spot, along with a variety of prizes from Cintas, including a Cintas UltraClean® restroom cleaning service, $2,500 in Cintas products and services for restroom upkeep, and a place in the prestigious America’s Best Restroom Hall of Fame.

Maverik’s restrooms were recognized for their exceptional cleanliness and comfort. Featuring sparkling fixtures, spacious stalls, and fresh amenities, they ensure every pit stop is a pleasant experience. Their adventurous décor and family-friendly features in over 500 stores across 13 western states further enhance the experience. Maverik’s commitment to restroom hygiene has already earned them recognition from USA Today as the gas station with the cleanest restrooms in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and Utah.

The 23rd annual contest highlights businesses that develop and maintain innovative restroom facilities. Maverik was chosen from ten finalists based on criteria like cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, functionality, and design. Public voting took place between July 15 and August 16 on bestrestroom.com, and the other nine finalists included:

  • Hop Shops (Florence, Kentucky)
  • Indiana Caverns (Corydon, Indiana)
  • Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium (Kansas City, Missouri)
  • Lambeau Field (Green Bay, Wisconsin)
  • MAD (Houston, Texas)
  • Maximilian Motorsports (Chehalis, Washington)
  • Morning Glory (San Diego, California)
  • Natchez Trace State Park Visitor Center (Wildersville, Tennessee)
  • Throne Restrooms (Brentwood, Maryland)

Last year’s winner was the Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) Thurgood Marshall Airport, recognized for its state-of-the-art smart restroom system, which includes LED stall occupancy lights and other innovations to enhance passenger experience.
