Manitoba Legislature Issues Official Proclamation as Bioscience Association Celebrates Global Biotech Week

The Bioscience Association Manitoba (BAM) marked Global Biotech Week with a successful celebration today, featuring an official proclamation at the Manitoba Legislative Building. The event brought together 80 Manitoba students, along with industry leaders and government officials, to highlight the province’s flourishing biotech sector and its contributions to global innovation. The Honourable Renée Cable, Minister of Advanced Education and Training, presented the formal proclamation, which acknowledged biotechnology’s crucial role in tackling key challenges—from healthcare advancements to sustainability solutions.

Held annually in September, Global Biotech Week celebrates the progress and achievements in bioscience, inspiring the next generation of leaders in the field.
