Laser Photonics, a leading global industrial developer of laser systems for cleaning and material processing, proudly announces the launch of the CleanTech MegaCenter 5010 (CTIR-5010), a cutting-edge surface treatment system designed for seamless integration into production lines or use as a standalone unit.
The CTIR-5010 is an industrial-grade fiber laser solution for semi-automatic laser cleaning and surface conditioning. It boasts a work area of up to nine square feet and features automatable sliding doors. The enclosed design ensures safety by preventing human exposure to laser radiation, while a built-in filtration unit manages fumes released during the ablation of toxic substances. As a Class I instrument, the CTIR-5010 meets stringent laser safety standards.
This semi-automated system provides manufacturers with consistent, repeatable results and enhanced throughput. The CleanTech product line, which requires no consumables or routine part replacements, offers long-term reliability. LPC also provides customizable configurations for the CTIR-5010, including options for laser types and design modifications to meet specific client needs.
Wayne Tupuola, CEO of Laser Photonics, commented, “Our semi-automatic laser systems are expanding, and with the CleanTech MegaCenter, we aim to help our manufacturing clients maximize their production capabilities. The demand for automation is growing across various sectors, and this advanced system positions us to serve diverse markets and new clients effectively.”
The CTIR-5010 will feature several next-generation upgrades, including overheat protection with automatic shutdown, mobile connectivity for remote control, and a compact scan head for faster setup and enhanced precision. These advancements enhance the usability and safety of LPC’s laser equipment, benefiting both operators and the environment.
Laser Photonics supports a range of clients, from small businesses to large manufacturers and government entities, in achieving precise and cost-effective surface cleaning and preparation. The company plans to continue advancing semi-automated technologies with the development of the CTIR-5010 and other products.
