Laser Photonics, a leading global developer of industrial laser systems for cleaning and material processing, has announced an international order for two of its laser machines—the CleanTech 100-CTHD and the MarkStar 20-MSH-Pro—from a major global oil and gas producer via an overseas distributor. Laser ablation technology, a novel method for removing corrosion, is gaining traction in the energy sector. It offers a safe, sustainable, and efficient solution for rust removal, restoring equipment integrity, reducing leak risks, and ensuring uninterrupted operation.
The CleanTech Handheld LPC-100-CTHD, acquired by the oil and gas producer, is a precision pulsed laser tool featuring dual-axis technology for effective processing of complex shapes and surfaces. This compact, mobile unit is ideal for in-field cleaning, polishing, and surface preparation on a small scale.
“This order represents a major milestone for Laser Photonics as we enter the oil and gas market,” said Wayne Tupuola, CEO of LPC. “As the benefits of this innovative cleaning method become more widely recognized, laser blasting is proving its versatility across various industries. Our advanced machines offer the ideal solution for rust removal wherever it is needed.”
The second product in the order, the MarkStar 20-MSH-Pro, is LPC’s premier laser marking system. It allows for precise, permanent marking on a range of materials, including curved and textured surfaces. This system is quick and efficient for identification, traceability, and inventory management. The MarkStar 20-MSH-Pro is maintenance-free, user-friendly, and operates without consumables.
This sale underscores LPC’s growing international presence. Although North America remains a key market, the increasing share of overseas sales reflects expanding brand recognition and opens doors to new customer opportunities. By exploring diverse markets, LPC can forge new partnerships, adapt to industry demands, and drive innovation. The company’s dedication to sustainability and cutting-edge solutions resonates globally, paving the way for continued growth and success.
