Laser Photonics, a leading global developer of laser systems for material processing and cleaning applications, today announced the appointment of Brady A. Hart as its new Semiconductor and Display Sales Director. This move is part of the company’s long-term growth and diversification strategy.
Hart joins Laser Photonics from Microtips Technology, where he served as the Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast, and Precision Electronic Glass, where he was a Strategic Account Manager. He has also held significant roles at Scientific Glass International, a custom manufacturer of scientific glass.
This strategic hire supports Laser Photonics’ expansion into the semiconductor and flat panel display markets. The company aims to capitalize on its Zero Width Laser Cutting technology and other innovations, while also benefiting from the U.S. Government’s CHIPS and Science Act, which promotes domestic investment in semiconductor research and development. Since the Act’s enactment in 2022, over 65 new or expanded projects have been announced, representing more than $250 billion in investments over the next five years.
The global wafer dicing equipment market, valued at nearly $900 million in 2023, is projected to reach $1.2 billion by 2030. Hart’s extensive experience in glass and quartz product manufacturing will be crucial in helping Laser Photonics grow its presence in this burgeoning industry.
Wayne Tupuola, CEO of Laser Photonics, stated, “We are thrilled to welcome Brady to our team. His extensive expertise in B2B sales and operations management, gained through his impressive career at growth-focused companies, will be key as we invest in our sales organization and drive our innovative technical and capital sales processes.”
Hart expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “I am excited to join Laser Photonics and contribute to advancing its laser technologies in the semiconductor sector.”
Hart holds a B.S. in Accounting and Management from the University of Florida and brings over 23 years of experience in strategic management, sales leadership, technical sales, account management, product development, financial analysis, and more.
