Lady A Partners with Cornerstone Building Brands for Tennessee Home Renovations

Lady A Joins Cornerstone Building Brands for Home Renovation in Tennessee

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc., a leading North American manufacturer of exterior building products, teamed up with GRAMMY® Award-winning country trio Lady A for a home renovation project in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Lady A’s Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley, and Hillary Scott rolled up their sleeves alongside volunteers from Cornerstone Building Brands and the Rutherford County Area Habitat for Humanity to replace vinyl siding and windows for an elderly couple’s home.

James Mitchell, 90, who has a heart condition, and his wife Christine, 88, have lived in their home for over 25 years. They applied to Habitat for Humanity’s Critical Home Repair program for necessary modifications and maintenance. The Home for Good project, part of Cornerstone Building Brands’ commitment to health and safety-focused home repairs, supported this initiative.

“We were happy to help remodel their home and enhance its curb appeal with new Mastic® siding and energy-efficient Simonton® windows,” said Susan Selle, Chief Marketing Officer of Cornerstone Building Brands. “This project represents our ongoing commitment to safe, well-maintained communities. We were thrilled Lady A joined us to raise awareness and amplify our impact.”

“It was really special to see first-hand the wonderful work being done to support families like the Mitchells,” said Lady A’s Hillary Scott. “We’re honored to be part of making safe homes a reality for everyone.”

Since 2016, Cornerstone Building Brands’ Home for Good project has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to donate building products and facilitate volunteer efforts for affordable housing. This year, the project has contributed to 60 home builds and donated over $450,000 in products, aiming to support around 100 builds and remodels by the end of 2024. To date, Cornerstone Building Brands has donated over $3.4 million in products to help build or remodel more than 720 homes in 135 communities.
