Jabil has expanded its server portfolio with the introduction of the J421E-S and J422-S servers, powered by AMD 5th Gen EPYC™ and Intel® Xeon® 6 processors. These servers are designed for scalable cloud data center applications, including AI, high-performance computing (HPC), fintech, networking, storage, databases, and security. They reflect the latest advancements in server technology from Jabil.
Engineered with customization in mind, the J422-S and J421E-S servers allow engineering teams to meet specific customer needs. By fine-tuning Jabil’s custom BIOS and BMC firmware, these servers offer enhanced performance, data management, and security. The platforms are available for sampling now, with full production expected by the first half of 2025.
“With both AMD and Intel in our portfolio, customers can choose the best solution for their needs. Jabil remains committed to empowering customers with cutting-edge technology,” said Chad Dubroca, Vice President of Cloud and Enterprise Products.
Collaborative Server Solutions
Jabil works closely with customers to develop innovative solutions, such as Precision Time Measurement (PTM) optimized motherboards, providing synchronization precision at the picosecond level. Jabil has collaborated with STAC Research and Liquid Market Solutions to create customized solutions for the fintech sector.
“Jabil is a pioneer in the industry, making TGPIO-PPS standard on motherboards while others were still exploring the technology. Their customization of BIOS for our ÜberNIC FPGA provided a winning solution for financial services,” said Seth Friedman, CEO of Liquid Market Solutions.
From design to deployment, Jabil offers comprehensive support, including custom power and cooling solutions, full-system integration, and sustainable device decommissioning through its Design-to-Dust™ solutions.
Jabil at the Open Compute Project (OCP)
Jabil’s server platforms will be showcased at the 2024 OCP Global Summit, Oct. 15-17, at the San Jose Convention Center in California. Products, including a liquid-cooled system from Liquid Market Solutions, will be displayed at Innovation Village and partner booths such as AMD, Intel, AMI, Axiado, and Samsung. Jabil will also host speaking sessions on topics like DC-SCM and DC-MHS.
