This latest triumph underscores Hyundai’s dedication to customer-centric, lifestyle-driven design, exemplified by the ‘Open for More’ design philosophy embodied in the fifth-generation SANTA FE midsize SUV. This innovative concept expands outdoor adventure possibilities by offering a spacious, terrace-like rear living area, facilitated by an extended wheelbase and enlarged tailgate opening. Additionally, the elongated wheelbase enhances third-row seating comfort, ensuring a luxurious ride experience.
The all-new SANTA FE boasts a bold, boxy shape and distinctive silhouette, derived from its extended wheelbase and broad tailgate area. The vehicle’s front exudes grandeur with its elevated hood, striking H-shaped headlamps, and commanding fenders, while the rear features balanced simplicity with H-shaped taillights.
Inside, the SANTA FE provides ample living space with a terrace-like ambiance when the tailgate is open, thanks to foldable second- and third-row seats. The interior design emphasizes horizontal and vertical lines with an H-motif, complemented by high-tech features like the Panoramic Curved Display and dual wireless charging. Sustainable materials such as recycled plastic and eco-friendly leatherette contribute to the interior’s refined aesthetic.
In addition to the SANTA FE’s accolade, Hyundai Motor also clinched a Red Dot Award in the Product Design: Outdoor and Camping Equipment category for its Multi-Lantern. This versatile product doubles as a portable flashlight for outdoor activities and a warm color mood light when used with a translucent light diffuser.
The Multi-Lantern embodies Hyundai’s commitment to creating enduring products, featuring a familiar ‘Horongbul’ motif inspired by Korean tradition. With its intuitive interface and practical features like USB C-type charging and wireless charging, the Multi-Lantern ensures ease of use and reliability. Certified as dustproof and waterproof with an IP65 rating, it guarantees durability and performance in various environments.
