GMC Unveils 2026 Acadia Denali Ultimate

GMC Elevates the 2026 Acadia with First-Ever Denali Ultimate Trim

GMC is taking its premium lineup to new heights with the introduction of the Denali Ultimate trim for the 2026 Acadia, marking the first time this ultra-luxury variant has been offered on the brand’s popular midsize SUV. As part of GMC’s broader strategy to diversify its vehicle offerings with high-end options, the Denali Ultimate trim blends upscale design, innovative technology, and real-world functionality, redefining what buyers can expect from a midsize SUV.

The new Acadia Denali Ultimate builds upon GMC’s established reputation for delivering refined trucks and SUVs, offering customers a more exclusive and luxurious version of the capable Acadia platform. This expansion comes at a time when premium midsize SUVs continue to surge in popularity, and GMC is aiming to capture discerning buyers looking for a vehicle that delivers both performance and upscale comfort.

Distinctive Design and Premium Features

The exterior of the 2026 Acadia Denali Ultimate is styled to stand apart from the standard Denali model, beginning with a striking Vader Chrome grille and GMC logo. Animated LED daytime running lamps, exclusive Denali Ultimate badging, and 22-inch machined aluminum wheels in an After Midnight Metallic finish contribute to the model’s refined and commanding road presence.

Inside the cabin, GMC spares no effort in delivering luxury and elegance. The Denali Ultimate trim features Woodland Mahogany full leather seats that are heated, ventilated, and equipped with massage functionality, adorned with plaited contrast stitching. The rich interior is further enhanced by Paldao wood trim featuring laser-etched topographical accents, visible across the dashboard, door panels, and seat backs. Embossed maps, custom floor mats, and Denali Ultimate insignias reinforce the unique identity of this top-tier variant.

Advanced Technology and Safety

The Acadia Denali Ultimate also comes standard with an impressive suite of advanced features and driver-focused technologies. Notable highlights include:

  • A Bose Performance Series 16-speaker audio system, delivering a premium sound experience.
  • Super Cruise, GMC’s advanced hands-free driver assistance system, available with a 3-year OnStar Super Cruise plan.
  • Nine camera views, including HD Surround Vision and a Rear Camera Mirror, improving visibility and safety from all angles.
  • A configurable 8-inch diagonal Head-Up Display, allowing the driver to access key information without taking their eyes off the road.
  • A Panoramic Sunroof that brings a sense of openness and light into the cabin.
  • AutoSense Power Liftgate for added convenience.
  • A specially tuned performance suspension system, designed to provide a balanced ride while isolating road imperfections.

Drivers can also take advantage of six selectable drive modes, allowing them to tailor the SUV’s performance characteristics to their personal driving style or road conditions.

Powertrain and Capability

All trims of the 2026 GMC Acadia, including the Denali Ultimate, will be powered by a robust 2.5-liter turbocharged engine, generating 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, providing smooth and responsive performance. The Acadia is also rated to tow up to 5,000 pounds, making it suitable for family adventures and utility tasks alike.

Safety Takes Center Stage

GMC has prioritized safety across the Acadia lineup. The 2026 model will feature more than 19 standard safety and driver-assistance technologies, including the Rear Camera Mirror as a standard feature on all trims. These systems are designed to support driver awareness, enhance occupant protection, and deliver peace of mind in a variety of driving scenarios.

While specific details on the full safety suite haven’t been disclosed, GMC emphasized that its standard equipment reflects the brand’s ongoing commitment to occupant protection and accident prevention.

Availability and Production

The 2026 GMC Acadia will be built at the Lansing Delta Township Assembly plant, utilizing both U.S.-sourced and globally sourced components. The SUV is expected to arrive at dealerships across North America starting in the third quarter of 2025. The Denali Ultimate trim will follow later in the year.

Although pricing for the Denali Ultimate has not yet been announced, interested customers can expect details to be released closer to its launch at GMC.com.

Driving the Future with Innovation

With the introduction of the Denali Ultimate trim to the Acadia, GMC reinforces its commitment to providing customers with elevated design, advanced technology, and serious capability. This move also aligns with General Motors’ broader mission to redefine the automotive experience through innovation, safety, and luxury—while continuing to transition toward a more electrified and efficient future.
