GE HealthCare Appoints Adam Holton as Chief People Officer
GE HealthCare (Nasdaq: GEHC) has announced the appointment of Adam Holton as Chief People Officer (CPO) to head the company’s Human Resources (HR) organization.
“Adam brings a perfect blend of leadership, HR expertise, and a people-focused approach that will foster business growth and advance our culture,” stated Peter Arduini, GE HealthCare’s Chief Executive Officer. “His extensive experience leading HR teams across various global companies and industries, including healthcare, will enhance our ability to serve our employees, patients, and customers.”
Holton boasts over 20 years of HR leadership experience with global companies, including prior roles at General Electric (GE) and GE HealthCare when it was part of GE. He joins GE HealthCare from Amedisys, where he served as Chief People Officer, overseeing people strategies for the 19,000-employee home health company. Before that, he was the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Numotion, a complex rehab technology provider; Senior Vice President of Human Resources at USAA, a financial services firm; and CHRO at CHS Inc., a Fortune 100 agricultural service cooperative. Earlier in his career, he held multiple HR leadership and organizational design roles at GE Healthcare and GE. Holton is also a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
Holton serves on the board of directors for Sierra Delta, a non-profit supporting military service members and veterans through the healing power of dogs. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the United States Naval Academy.
