Appointment of Chief Operating Officer
As part of its leadership expansion, Flowchem has appointed Shivali Agarwal as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Shivali brings extensive global experience in operations, having worked in leadership positions across multiple regions. Prior to joining Flowchem, she served as Group General Manager, Production Systems at SLB (NYSE: SLB). With a career spanning decades in the industry, she has demonstrated expertise in operational efficiency, business strategy, and global supply chain management.
Shivali holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, as well as a Master of Science in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, India. Her appointment signifies Flowchem’s commitment to strengthening its operational framework, driving efficiency, and enhancing its service offerings to customers globally.
Strengthening the Technology Team

Dr. Lu-Chien Chou, a distinguished expert in the field, has joined Flowchem’s research team. John Stephens, another esteemed industry professional, joins Flowchem with decades of experience in industrial chemical R&D and manufacturing. His background includes roles at Siege Engineering and PPG Industries (NYSE: PPG), where he worked extensively on product innovation, process optimization, and large-scale production strategies. - Joe Blount – Former President and CEO of Colonial Pipeline, one of the largest refined product pipeline operators in the U.S.; former CEO of Century Midstream LLC; former Chair of the Association of Oil Pipe Lines (AOPL). With a strong background in pipeline operations, his insights will support Flowchem’s DRA application strategies.
- Scott Rogan – CFO of Eagle LNG Partners; former SVP of Targa Resources; former Partner and head of midstream investing at Energy Capital Partners. Scott brings financial acumen and midstream energy expertise, reinforcing Flowchem’s strategic investment approach.
- Chris Oversby – Former CEO of Optum Energy Solutions, a DRA technology company; former chemicals executive at Baker Hughes, Clariant & Univar. His extensive background in chemical engineering and product development will guide Flowchem’s innovation efforts.
