DEWALT Expands ATOMIC™ 20V MAX Lineup with First-Ever Cordless 4-Inch Angle Grinder and New High-Performance Grinding Tools*
DEWALT, a Stanley Black & Decker brand recognized globally as a leader in professional-grade jobsite solutions, has announced the launch of its ATOMIC™ 20V MAX 4-inch Angle Grinder (DCG400)**. This release marks the company’s first cordless tool in the 4-inch category, designed to combine compact maneuverability with uncompromised power. Alongside this flagship product, DEWALT is also introducing three additional tools within the ATOMIC™ 20V MAX family: the 4.5-inch Angle Grinder (DCG402), the Die Grinder (DCG420), and the Right Angle Die Grinder (DCG422).
The expansion represents a significant step forward for professionals in industries such as fabrication, welding, and metalworking, where compact tools that deliver superior output without the encumbrance of pneumatic hoses are in high demand. By designing these cordless grinders to outperform select HP-rated pneumatic alternatives, DEWALT continues to drive the shift toward battery-powered solutions that promote safety, efficiency, and productivity.
Meeting the Demands of the Toughest Trades
Phil Bolton, Director of Product Management at DEWALT, emphasized the importance of these new releases for skilled workers in fabrication and construction.
“The fabrication trades – particularly fitters and welders – perform some of the most demanding applications in the field, making cordless products that meet their performance needs highly advantageous,” Bolton explained. “DEWALT is dedicated to meeting the needs of these trades through innovation and continuing to drive the adoption of cordless tools for safety, maneuverability, and productivity.”
