Available exclusively on ChargePoint’s website, the program simplifies the installation process. Drivers only need to answer three straightforward questions about their home to receive an instant quote and installation date. This eliminates the hassle of locating an electrician, scheduling a pre-installation visit for a quote, or separating the purchase of the charger from its installation. ChargePoint utilizes its network of certified installation partners, ensuring drivers do not have to search for or vet electricians on their own. With 80% of EV charging occurring at home, as reported by the U.S. Department of Energy, this initiative aims to enhance convenience for EV owners.

The ChargePoint® Home Flex Level 2 charger, a top-selling product on Amazon in both the U.S. and Canada, can be installed indoors or outdoors. It features a 23-foot charging cable to accommodate various parking configurations and EV charging port locations. Through the ChargePoint mobile app, drivers can schedule charging during off-peak hours, adjust charging speeds, and receive reminders to plug in. Additionally, Home Flex integrates with Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri for voice commands, allowing users to check charging status, start or stop charging, and review charging activity with ease.
