The MUSE Design Awards celebrates and honors the world’s stylish design and innovation. Archer’s platoon of world-class design professionals, led by Julien Montousse, former Head of Design at Mazda North America, Niki Smart, who reshaped the Cadillac vehicle design at General Motors, and Greg Warmsley, former Executive Creative Director at Mazda, broke boundaries of aerospace design with its Night aircraft, which intends to unleash the skies bringing the future of movement to reality. “
Night is poised to unleash freedom of movement within and around metropolises in an entirely new position. Our design platoon concentrated on creating a trip experience that will enrich people’s lives through an inspiring future Archer world, ” said Montousse. “ After spending the utmost of my life designing buses, I saw from a distance that technology improvements were passing in aerospace and that they would unleash new aircraft infrastructures. When developing a product in a fully new space like eVTOL aircraft, it’s important to inseminate confidence and earn the trust of consumers. ”
Unlike the automotive assiduity, the skin of an eVTOL aircraft can not be designed alone- the entire aircraft must be designed inclusively with engineering and artificial design brigades working hand in hand to achieve a final product that is visually stunning while meeting the strict aerodynamics and weight demands needed for the aircraft to perform at the position needed. “ When setting out to design Midnight, we concentrated on creating an important aircraft design that forged an emotional connection between passenger and aircraft, ” said Montousse. “ Night combines high function with high emotion delivering a trip experience unlike any other.
