MITER Foundation Raises Over $4.8 Million at Annual Charity Golf Outings

The MITER Foundation, the charitable arm of MITER Brands, a leading residential window and door manufacturer, raised more than $4.8 million through its two highly anticipated charity golf outings held this year in Pennsylvania and California. The funds raised during the 2024 events mark a new record for the organization, underscoring its growing influence and commitment to giving back. These events provide critical support for various causes that are close to the foundation’s heart, and this year’s success further highlights the generosity of the MITER community and its partners.

The first of the two charity golf outings took place from October 8 to 10 at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The event saw 587 participants gather for a weekend filled with exciting activities, including golf, banquets, live and silent charity auctions, and other engaging experiences. The Hershey Lodge, known for its luxury accommodations and scenic surroundings, provided the perfect backdrop for this record-breaking fundraising effort.

A standout feature of the Hershey event was the live charity auction, which offered participants the chance to bid on a variety of unique and exclusive items and experiences. One of the most sought-after lots was the “Military Support Mission” experience in Washington, D.C., which included coveted tickets to the 2024 Army/Navy game. Other high-demand auction items included a thrilling Need for Speed F1 race experience in Miami, a relaxing golf getaway, and the “Targets and Tennis” package, which offered an outdoor shooting experience at Hudson Farms and tickets to the 2025 US Open in New York City. These one-of-a-kind opportunities contributed to the overall success of the event, helping to generate significant funds for the MITER Foundation’s ongoing philanthropic work.

Following the successful Pennsylvania event, the second MITER Foundation golf outing took place in Temecula, California, from November 12 to 13 at the Pechanga Resort Casino. This event brought together 217 participants for two days of golf, gourmet meals, and additional fundraising activities. Guests were treated to world-class dining experiences provided by the resort’s talented staff while engaging in a live charity auction that included a variety of exclusive packages. The auction featured items like a North Island experience, a Camp Rainbow experience, and another outdoor shooting experience at Hudson Farms. Participants also bid on tickets to the 2025 US Open and other unique items, such as one-of-a-kind artwork and a wine varietal with a custom box made specifically for the event. In addition to the live auction, an online silent auction allowed attendees to place bids on a range of other exciting prizes.

Both golf outings were attended by a diverse group of individuals, including supply partners, customers, nonprofit organizations, MITER Brands team members, and special guests. These events provided a unique opportunity for participants to come together, celebrate their shared commitment to giving back, and raise funds for causes that make a difference in the lives of many.

The funds raised at these charity golf outings directly support the MITER Foundation’s four primary causes: cancer support, heroes support, children’s well-being, and local outreach.
