Daimler Buses and H2 MOBILITY Germany have teamed up to expand hydrogen refueling infrastructure for transportation companies. As part of a comprehensive consulting approach, Daimler Buses will now facilitate access to H2 MOBILITY Germany’s hydrogen refueling services for buses powered by hydrogen fuel cells. H2 MOBILITY, which operates the largest public hydrogen refueling network in Europe, is building additional stations near transportation companies, based on demand. They also offer the option of installing H2 dispensers directly at bus depots when needed.
The publicly accessible stations, operated by H2 MOBILITY, reduce investment and operating costs for bus operators. This partnership allows Daimler Buses’ customers to benefit from reliable hydrogen refueling services while supporting the expansion of public hydrogen infrastructure.
Mirko Sgodda, Head of Marketing, Sales, and Customer Services at Daimler Buses, emphasized the company’s commitment to electrification: “We are advancing alternative drive technologies, including hydrogen fuel cells. Since 2023, our eCitaro fuel cell bus has been equipped with a hydrogen-based system to extend its range. Through our partnership with H2 MOBILITY Germany, we offer customers seamless solutions, from depot installations to public refueling stations, reducing complexity for transportation companies.”
