Airbus Helicopters has delivered its first H175 helicopter to the aviation unit of the Guangzhou Public Security Bureau (GZP). The new aircraft will be used for public service operations and emergency management support.
The H175 joins GZP’s existing fleet, which includes two H145 helicopters delivered in 2016 and 2019, with a combined total of 3,200 flight hours.
“The H175, with its exceptional performance and capabilities, will boost our efficiency and serve as a vital asset in fulfilling our diverse mission requirements,” said Zhang Rui, Vice Mayor of Guangzhou and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Guangzhou Public Security Bureau. “We are excited to continue our collaboration with Airbus to promote the growth of the aviation sector in Guangzhou.”

Since entering service in 2015, the H175, a super-medium-class helicopter, has proven itself in a variety of roles, offering a balance of long-range capability, payload capacity, and smooth flight performance. It is suitable for missions such as disaster relief, search and rescue, public services, crew transport, and private or business aviation. To date, 65 H175 helicopters have been delivered worldwide, accumulating over 240,000 flight hours.
In China, approximately 80 Airbus helicopters are in service for public operations, aiding in the protection of local communities.
