Tenaris Awards Roberto Rocca Scholarships to Three Students in Saudi Arabia

Tenaris has awarded scholarships to three students in Saudi Arabia as part of the inaugural edition of the Roberto Rocca Scholarships program in the Kingdom. The recipients—Abdulaziz Aldossary, Mohammed Saad Alghamdi, and Ebba Alnemer—will pursue their studies at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) in Dhahran, reinforcing Tenaris’s commitment to nurturing local talent.

The Roberto Rocca Scholarships program honors students who demonstrate academic excellence and a strong commitment to their education. By supporting students at various levels, from secondary to doctoral, Tenaris aims to promote equal opportunities and contribute to the development of the communities in which it operates.

“Supporting the education of young Saudis is a vital aspect of our commitment to the Kingdom. By investing in their education, we aim to cultivate a skilled technical workforce in Saudi Arabia and empower the next generation to drive the nation’s growth,” said Renwar Berzinji, president of Tenaris operations in Saudi Arabia. This initiative is part of Tenaris’s broader efforts in the country, which include educational, social, and environmental programs aimed at community development.

In addition to the scholarships, Tenaris’s contributions to the community include volunteer efforts and the Roberto Rocca Technical Gene Program. Recently, the company inaugurated the Tenaris Lab at the ITQAN Institute in Juaymah. This new facility, equipped with advanced machinery donated by Tenaris, provides students with practical, hands-on experience, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world technical skills.
