FUSO is set to make a significant impact at GaLaBau 2024, taking place from September 11-14 in Nuremberg. This year, FUSO will showcase four vehicles, all fully electric, highlighting the brand’s commitment to sustainable solutions in horticulture and landscaping. GaLaBau, known as the leading international trade fair for urban greenery and open spaces, will feature the latest trends and innovations, with FUSO playing a key role in promoting climate-friendly technologies.
For the first time, FUSO will be an official participant in GaLaBau’s “Green-Blue Path,” a dedicated area that focuses on products and innovations supporting essential climate adaptation measures. Mathias Wolf, Head of Product Management and Marketing at FUSO Germany, emphasized the suitability of the FUSO Canter and its electric counterpart for diverse horticultural tasks, stating, “The eCanter Next Generation demonstrates how electromobility can be effectively applied, particularly in horticulture and landscaping.”

New Canter Enhancements
As of this summer, both the FUSO Canter and the eCanter Next Generation have received standard updates, enhancing comfort and safety. Notable improvements include the Active Brake Assist 6 (ABA6), which can perform emergency braking at speeds up to 60 km/h to avoid collisions with pedestrians or cyclists. The Blind Spot Information Assist now includes four sensors that monitor both sides of the vehicle, exceeding current legal requirements. Additionally, Sideguard Assist 2 functions as a lane change assistant at speeds over 30 km/h.
