Top-Tier Training & Cultural Immersion: Weichai’s Mid-Year Overseas Marketing Bootcamp

Recently, Weichai organized the 2024 Overseas Marketing Mid-Year Bootcamp titled “Leading the Way, Seizing the Day, Sprinting Ahead into the Next Phase,” aimed at significantly enhancing the skills of its overseas marketing personnel to better serve global customers. The bootcamp focused on talent development to build a robust, internationally competitive team, recognizing the importance of conquering overseas markets and nurturing localized talent.

This event brought together Weichai employees from global markets, both Chinese and international, to participate in a comprehensive training program. The sessions covered a wide range of topics, including product knowledge, corporate culture, business discussions, and business etiquette. Through systematic learning and practical case studies, the overseas marketing team quickly gained insights into products, marketing strategies, and Weichai’s corporate culture. The bootcamp also helped to strengthen their cross-cultural communication skills and abilities in global brand building.

As part of the program, international employees toured Weichai’s production workshops and technology exhibition hall. They were highly impressed by the spotless production lines, advanced automated equipment, and efficient AGV robots, which showcased Weichai’s cutting-edge smart manufacturing and its expansive “Power Kingdom.” The bootcamp also included lessons on traditional Chinese culture, where international employees learned about tea culture and experienced the art of brewing and tasting tea firsthand. This experience deepened their understanding of China’s rich cultural heritage and accelerated their integration into the Weichai family.
