Amprius Technologies, a leading innovator in next-generation lithium-ion batteries with its Silicon Anode Platform, has appointed Livingston “Tony” Satterthwaite as an independent director to its Board of Directors, effective August 13, 2024. In addition to his role on the Board, Mr. Satterthwaite will also serve on the Board’s Compensation Committee.
Tony Satterthwaite is a seasoned industry professional with over 30 years of experience in the transportation and power generation sectors. His extensive expertise will be invaluable in guiding the Company’s product development and customer engagement strategies within the transportation industry.

In September 2023, Mr. Satterthwaite was appointed as one of the inaugural members of Amprius’ Advisory Council, which provides the Company with crucial multi-industry insights and advises senior management through the next phase of growth. Additionally, he serves as a Director of IDEX Corporation (NYSE: IEX), The Chemours Company (NYSE: CC), the National Association of Manufacturers, and the Cummins Foundation. Mr. Satterthwaite is currently a Senior Vice President at Cummins, Inc., a global power solutions provider, where he is responsible for addressing large enterprise challenges and aligning business units across IT and digital products and services.
Meanwhile, Mary Gustanski, who has been a member of the Amprius Board since June 2023, stepped down from her position effective August 12, 2024. Amprius extends its gratitude to Ms. Gustanski for her contributions during her tenure. Following these changes, the Amprius Board will consist of seven directors, six of whom are independent.
