Stratasys has announced plans to relocate its U.S. headquarters from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, to a new campus in Minnetonka. This move will consolidate most of Stratasys’ Minnesota offices into one expansive, dynamic corporate campus. Situated on the existing United Health Care campus, the new headquarters is set to open on January 6, 2025. It will feature cutting-edge technology, improved amenities, and strategically designed workspaces to foster innovation and creativity, ultimately enhancing the company’s ability to deliver outstanding value and service to customers and partners.
The relocation is expected to boost collaboration and productivity, taking advantage of the current real estate market. The new campus will offer an attractive work environment to attract top regional talent.
Dr. Yoav Zeif, CEO of Stratasys, highlighted the significance of this move: “Our success as the leader and original founder of industrial 3D printing is rooted in a strong company culture with deep ties to this region. The new headquarters will provide an improved work environment for our employees, reinforcing our commitment to innovation, teamwork, and well-being.”
The Minnetonka campus will be located less than 10 minutes from the current headquarters, enhancing collaboration between research and development and manufacturing. It will also bring corporate functions closer to the manufacturing process, enabling the company to better address the evolving needs of its stakeholders.
Stratasys will retain its Stratasys Direct Manufacturing facility in Eden Prairie and plans to list the current Edenvale headquarters and Wallace Road buildings for sale as staff transition to the new site.
Founded in Eden Prairie in 1989 by Scott Crump, former CEO and current board member, Stratasys continues to build on its 35-year heritage.
Rich Garrity, Chief Industrial Business Officer, noted, Our employees are excited about the consolidation of our campuses. This move underscores our commitment to growth, positions us for ongoing success, and allows us to create the environment our employees are seeking.
