Laser Photonics & Fonon to Co-Host Booth at ASNE Symposium

Laser Photonics, a global leader in industrial laser systems for cleaning and material processing, is teaming up with its sister company, Fonon Technologies, a top provider of laser-based components and systems integration, to co-host an exhibit booth at ASNE’s Fleet Maintenance & Modernization Symposium (FMMS) in September 2024.

The American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) organizes the FMMS as a key forum for discussing ship maintenance and modernization among stakeholders including the U.S. Coast Guard, Navy, Marine Corps, and various other maritime and defense entities.

FMMS facilitates discussions on fleet issues and solutions, promoting partnerships that drive technological innovation and enhance naval capabilities.

Wayne Tupuola, CEO of Laser Photonics, stated, “Our CleanTech and DefenseTech laser blasting systems are advanced solutions for addressing corrosion challenges in naval systems. Partnering with Fonon Technologies at FMMS allows us to leverage their defense community connections and demonstrate how our technologies can improve maintenance and repair operations.”

Event Details:

  • What: ASNE Fleet Maintenance & Modernization Symposium
  • When: September 17-19, 2024
  • Where: Virginia Beach Convention Center, 1000 19th St, Virginia Beach, VA 23451
