ABZ Innovation, a European developer and manufacturer of heavy-duty civil drones for use in agriculture and industry, officially opened its new production facility in Szentendre, Hungary today — one of the largest dedicated production sites for civil drones in Europe.
The new facility is approximately four times larger than ABZ Innovation’s previous production site, supporting a projected threefold increase in production in 2026 alone, with a further doubling planned for 2027. This significantly expands ABZ Innovation’s capacity to meet the increasing global demand for drone-based automation in agriculture and industry. ABZ Innovation’s drone systems are currently deployed in more than 40 countries across six continents to support precision spraying, seed and fertilizer distribution, industrial cleaning, and cargo operations.
The opening is a testament to the enormous scale of demand within the ABZ Innovation platform. The L-Series remains the frontrunner in precision agriculture, reducing water usage by up to 90% and chemical inputs by up to 50% compared to conventional spraying methods. Meanwhile, the C-Series has become the company’s fastest-growing line as industrial operators prefer drone-based cleaning over slower, manual alternatives.
