The 2024 World Manufacturing Convention is scheduled for September 20-23 in Hefei, Anhui. This year’s theme, “Smart Manufacturing for a Better Future,” will highlight Anhui’s key industries, including new energy vehicles, next-generation information technology, and advanced manufacturing equipment.
The event will feature various exhibition areas, such as an introductory hall, an international exhibition space, displays of significant manufacturing achievements from leading countries, and showcases from guest provinces and cities. It will also present Anhui’s progress in new industrialization over a sprawling 20,000 square meters, focusing on the latest innovations in global manufacturing. A new outdoor exhibition area will debut at Luogang Park, showcasing static and dynamic displays of new energy vehicles, drones, humanoid robots, and more.
Since its inception in 2018, the World Manufacturing Convention has been hosted in Hefei for six consecutive years, fostering international collaboration and promoting Anhui’s manufacturing sector. To date, the convention has welcomed over 30,000 attendees and facilitated more than 3,600 cooperative projects, resulting in total investments exceeding 1.5 trillion yuan.
Recognized by the State Council as an important international conference, the World Manufacturing Convention serves national diplomatic goals and acts as a vital platform for Anhui’s openness and cooperation. This year’s event will leverage digital technology to create a seamless online and offline exhibition experience. Key activities, including the opening ceremony, exhibitions, product launches, and matchmaking events, will be accessible online through digital tools like virtual exhibitions and intelligent interactions.
